
I am at Stirling on an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship. I was awarded a PhD in Sociology from the University of Manchester in 2008, studying The Social Networks of the Public Elite. The research compiled a social network analysis of the boardroom composition of Westminster Quangos.I am currently developing chapters and sections from the thesis for journal and conference papers.
My research interests focus upon elites, particularly exploring the avenues used to create the social differences between those in positions of power and privilege and the rest of society.
