Prior to 2003 worked as a social worker in a local authority fostering and adoption team and with young people in various settings. Undertook the MSc in Applied Social Research here in the Department and started employment as a contract researcher in May 2004, working on various research projects with colleagues in the Social Work Research Centre and latterly within the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research.
