I am currently a PhD student whose main focus of research is the protection of children on the internet, more specifically, the prevention of childhood internet ‘grooming’. This research is funded by the ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council). I completed a Masters in Applied Social Research (Criminology) in 2010 at the University of Stirling. Prior to my commencement at this University, I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Social Sciences at the University of Highlands and Islands (Perth College) where I was also awarded the Principal’s Prize for Best Honours Year Student.
I am also an affiliated member of the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research (SCCJR).
