About

I am currently a first year PhD student at the University of Stirling where I am undertaking research, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) that focuses on victim and statutory agency interactions and responses to hate crime in Scotland. Other than criminology my research interests include social justice, inequality, health and the sociology of gender and sexuality.

Before commencing PhD studies I completed a Masters in Applied Social Research from the University of Stirling (2011). Prior to this I gained an MA Joint Honours History and Sociology degree from the University of Glasgow (2009), followed by a Postgraduate Diploma with distinction in Social Research from Glasgow Caledonian University (2010).
