As well as lecturing on the MSc in dementia studies and carrying out research in the dementia field, I continue to practice as a nurse in the long-term care of people with dementia. This is important in attempting to bridge the gap between theory and practce. I have a particular interest in the role of staff interactions in contributing to well or ill-being of people with dementia. Would like to develop a role in practice and organizational change.
