Scottish Addiction Studies
About the Section
Scottish Addiction Studies is a collaboration of staff throughout the University of Stirling, with an interest in drug and alcohol misuse. Staff from the Department of Applied Social Science, the Institute of Social Marketing and the Department of Nursing and Midwifery are all involved in the Scottish Addiction Studies network. Activities within the group are extensive; from on-line teaching and information services to evaluation of interventions within the criminal justice system. This broad base allows the SAS network to respond to addictions issues in ways which are fully reflective of its wide-ranging interests and expertise.
